Calling all sports enthusiasts! Join us to reminisce about memorable sports events and great professional athletes. Remember Mantle, Mays and Snider as well as Mikan, Chamberlain and Zaslofsky? Let’s spend an enjoyable hour talking about the good old days in sports. All memorabilia will be most welcome. This discussion will be led by Warren Pearlman, tennis coach and retired physical education instructor. 

Dean Martin, part 2, On His Own

Saturday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m.

This program continues to cover the career of singer Dean Martin after his 1956 split from comedian Jerry Lewis. It will feature video clips of Dean performing with Frank Sinatra & Sammy Davis Jr. and also present clips from his NBC TV variety show in the 60s with such stars as Gene Kelly, Ginger Rogers, John Wayne, Johnny Carson, and many others. Also clips from his TV show, “Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts” in the 70s with Don Rickles, Orson Welles, James Stewart and many others. With Jack Schnur.

This retrospective presentation will take you behind the scenes of one of operas and entertainments greatest events – a 1990 concert by Josè Carreras, Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome. With Lou Barrella.
