Give The Long Beach Public Library’s record collection a spin in the new Vinyl Listening Lounge. The Listening Lounge consists of 2 turntable set-ups, complete with headphones and lounge chairs. One set up has a headphone splitter so you and a friend can share a record together. Plug in and relax or bring your laptop and listen while you work. Two hour listening sessions are available for booking in advance, and walk-ins are always welcome. Please see the reference librarian to check in for your listening session. To protect the collection, no food or drink is permitted. To protect the vibes, take all cell phone calls and conversation outside.
Anyone with an adult library card from any library in Nassau County can borrow records.
Records must be returned directly to the front desk at the Long Beach Public Library and cannot go in ANY drop box.
Two records can be borrowed at a time. The loan period is seven days. If a record is returned damaged, you will be billed for the item.
