One-on-One Resume Help

Our trained job support librarian will provide personal one-on-one guidance and assistance on updating and refreshing your resume.

Schedule your 30-minute appointment. opens in a new window Resume help appointments (in-person or Zoom) are available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 3 pm.

Out of respect for other patrons with appointments, arriving more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment without contacting the library will be considered a no-show cancellation.

For in-person resume help, please make sure you bring a copy of your resume. A digital version is best. You can also email it to lashford@longbeachlibrary.org in advance of your appointment. Don't forget your email account name and password if it's needed to access the document.

For online resume help, make sure you have a digital copy of your resume. Register for an appointment with your email address, and we'll send you a Zoom link.

Can't make a daytime appointment? We also offer drop-by in-person resume assistance on Thursday evenings from 5 to 7:30! Just stop by for help.

Can't make a Zoom or in-person meeting?  We also offer resume review by email.  Just email your resume as a Word or PDF attachment to lashford@longbeachlibrary.org and Lenora will get back to you.
