how to start a free account on hoopla:

1. Just go to Hoopla opens in a new window and have your library card number ready.
2. Click the "Get Started" button.
3. Enter and confirm your email address.
4. Choose a safe password you will remember.
5. Select your library - Long Beach Library (NY)
6. Enter your library card number.
7. You're done! Just note your email and password so you can log on at any time.

how to log on to kanopy:
  1. Visit https://longbeachlibrary.kanopy.com opens in a new window and click on the orange “Continue” button.
  2. Create an account using the “Sign In” button (top right). 
  3. Follow the prompts, entering your name, email address, and create a password.
  4. Go into your email, open up the message sent from Kanopy and click on the “Verify My Email” button.
  5. Click the “Add Library Card” button and enter your Long Beach Library card number.

  3. Scroll down and tap on “Extras” 
  4. Choose from IndieFlix, Qello Concerts, or The Great Courses  
  5. Select “Open.” You'll be taken out of Libby to learn more about the channel. 
  6. Select “Get a 7-Day Pass” 
  7. Follow prompts to begin watching!
