What is it?It’s a program designed to provide easy access to library materials, for patrons who are unable to visit library locations due to short or long-term illness or disability. We will bring the books to you!
We may also refer you to the NYPL Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library who also provides free reading materials for patrons who are blind, visually impaired, or are otherwise physically unable to read standard print. These services are provided via the United States Postal Service.
Who is Eligible?
Residents of Long Beach, Lido Beach, Point Lookout, and East Atlantic Beach, with a library card account in good standing may enroll.There are no overdue fees but the library’s standard fee schedule will apply for all lost or damaged materials.How to Apply
