The Long Beach Public Library’s seed library is a free resource available to LBPL cardholders. Located at the Reference Desk, our collection offers many vegetable, fruit, herb, and native flower varieties. We also offer ready-to-plant houseplant cuttings at our Propagation Station. Contact Nicolem@longbeachlibrary.org for an updated list of seeds and cuttings available.
Our seed library offers seeds from Seed Savers, as well as generously donated seeds from Island Harvest.

Do you love gardening and want to meet others in your community who love gardening too? Join the LB Garden Club to discuss all things gardening! At the LB Garden Club, we promote the love of gardening one seed at a time.
Whether you’re experienced, a beginner, or just love to garden, all are welcome!
